To use the drill pipe normally and ensure normal failure modes (thread wear, fatigue fracture), the following points must be not:

Confirm that the drill pipe fits well with the connecting sleeve (preferably provided by the same manufacturer); the specifications (drill rod diameter) match: large specifications and high impact power rock drills, small specifications and small impact power rock drills, otherwise it is easy to cause early fracture ;

　　2. Check the tread wear, if it is serious, it should be scrapped in time to avoid breaking with the drilling process and causing greater losses;

　　3. Check the bending of the drill rod. If it is more serious, stop using it (it can be used after straightening);

　　4. Be stable when opening holes, and lower the working pressure parameters to avoid accidental damage;

　　5. The working parameters should be adjusted in time according to the rock condition and drill bit condition. Because the quality of domestic drill rods is different from that of foreign top products, the working parameters should be adjusted appropriately; when drilling and slagging compensation, the drill bit should be replaced in time to improve the working efficiency of the drill rod; when the rock is soft, it should be lowered Impact pressure and propulsion force to extend the service life of the drill rod.

　　6. Choose the correct drill pipe working parameters: For drill pipe with adjustable parameters (impact pressure, impact power, impact frequency, propulsion force, rotation speed), it should be ensured that the large impact energy corresponds to the large size drill rod, and the small impact energy corresponds to the small Specification of drill rod, otherwise, it is easy to cause early fracture and failure of the drill rod;

　　7. It is recommended to use fast drill rods (MF drill rods) instead of conventional extension rods to improve drilling efficiency;

　　8. In the case of early fracture (small thread wear), we should notify our company in writing in time to deal with it in time.
