The construction of water well drilling tools is mainly divided into four stages:

　　(1) The preparation stage of water well drilling tools. After the corresponding wind, water, and electricity conditions are available, the water well drilling tool is installed on the pre-cast concrete foundation, and all parts of the hydraulic system pipeline and cables are connected for operation and debugging.

　　(2) Pilot hole stage of water well drilling tool. The drilling rig runs and drills the pilot hole from top to bottom. The torque and feed force generated by the powerhead and the propulsion cylinder are transmitted to the pilot hole bit through the drill rod, forming a gradually deepened pilot hole. The diameter of the guide hole is generally 216～350mm. The mud fluid pressed from the center of the drill pipe carries the broken slag and is discharged from the wellhead through the annular space. After the pilot hole and the lower tunnel are connected, this stage ends.

　　(3) Reaming stage of water well drilling tool. Remove the pilot hole drill in the lower tunnel, connect the reaming bit, and start bottom-up reaming. The diameter of the enlarged wellbore is generally 1 to 5m. The cuttings are broken down during reaming and drilling fall to the lower level by their weight and are transported out by a loader or other equipment.

　　(4) The finishing stage of water well drilling tools. After all the penetration is expanded, the construction will be finished after the drill bit is tightened, the main engine is down, the whole is lifted off, and the wellhead is protected.
